About us

     HAPAM Poland Sp. z o.o. has been the world's leading producer of high voltage disconnectors, since we started the production in Lodz in 1993.

      The company was established within the ABB concern when we took over the production of the well-known SGF- and TFB-type disconnectors from Germany.

     In the following years, our own research and development team has redesigned these disconnectors expanding their voltage range and their rated current range as well as introduced disconnectors type SSB II and VSSB III .

     In 1994, we received the certificate of conformity with the DIN EN ISO 9001 standard issued by DQS GmbH. Now the company also holds a certificate of integrated quality,  environmental and occupational health and safety management according to PN-EN ISO 9001, PN-EN ISO 14001 and PN-ISO 45001;2018.

     In 2003, the plant producing the high voltage disconnectors was taken over by the Dutch company HAPAM and was named HAPAM Poland Sp z o.o. Currently, the factory employs over 70 people and makes disconnectors of the voltage range from 72.5 to 800kV. Our disconnectors operate in almost every country around the world and are highly regarded by customers.
